OpenOffice/StarOffice have more functions than e.g. the Microsoft Office-Suite.

Basis of code

OpenOffice and StarOffice come of from the same source and use the same base of code. Practically they differ only in the range of licensed third components. The current StarOffice is based on release 1,1 of OpenOffice.
